It fit perfectly and I was so comfortable on my wedding day.  I loved that she was so helpful in making sure I was as comfortable as possible in my dress that she altered my underskirt and added additional boning to the dress that made it look like it had been there all along.  The back of my dress had a ripple effect to it, and Donna made sure when it was bustled that the effect wouldn’t get lost, and it turned out beautifully!  Donna was so attentive and willing to make additional adjustments if I wanted to make sure the dress was exactly how I wanted it to be.  She’s so professional and the quality of work speaks for itself.  I also loved the little touch she sewed into my dress to make that day even more wonderful and memorable.

“So there I was with an arm load of my favorite Harley-Davidson t-shirts, from past travels. They had been hanging in my closet so long, had shrunk and would no longer fit me. I was going to give them to Goodwill but it was suggested that I should make a quilt from them.

Then I found Donna’s Custom Sewing and she said it could be done and it would be cool. So when I took her my shirts she interviewed me and suggested that I find a photo to include in the quilt.

I found two photos that I wanted. One with my son sitting on my bike in 1986, and another with him riding his own bike next to me 20 years later.

Now I have this awesome wall hanging that contains not just travels, but the meaning of life. Many folks comment on the quilt and I get to tell the story often. It is as soothing as my baby blanket was a long time ago.” — Steve Phillips
